This week’s question is: Many readers/bloggers are also big music fans. Tell us about a few of your favorite bands/singers that we should listen to in 2012.
My answer: I love music. So much so that ever since I can remember, I’ve listened to it as I fall asleep and I keep it on all night (nope, that doesn’t bother me). When I was younger, I NEEDED it on every night or I couldn’t really sleep. Now, I can sleep without it if I have to, but I prefer to keep it on. That said, I haven’t been listening to much that is new, mainly because I barely ever get to listen to the radio anymore to discover new music. It’s also hard to pick a favorite. I can tell you that on my playlist I listen to at night right now, I have Adele, Metallica, Supertramp, Curtis Stigers, Godsmack, Guns N’ Roses, Selena Gomes & the Scene, The Eagles, Alice in Chains, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Avenged Sevenfold, The Hollies, Seether, Foghat, Britney Spears, The Band Perry, Ke$ha, Stevie Nicks, Nicki Minaj, Grand Funk Railroad, and various songs from Sons of Anarchy (my favorite television show).
I have new ways to follow on the right sidebar. It is now easier to subscribe by RSS or by email if you wish (especially if Google still plans to nix GFC for non-blogspot blogs in March). I hope you all will stick with me.
